This project involved the comprehensive refurbishment and structural strengthening of a 100-year-old building, ensuring its longevity while transforming it into a modern living space. Following extensive consultations with the client, architects, and structural engineers, the initial phase of the project focused on installing a large internal steel frame to provide critical support to the aging structure.
Once the building was made watertight, our team carried out a range of essential works to prepare it for occupancy. These included the installation of new utility connections for all eight apartments, ensuring seamless functionality. A complete rewiring of the property was undertaken, incorporating a fire alarm system tailored to the client’s specifications. Each apartment was equipped with an efficient heating system to provide year-round comfort.
The interiors were modernized with the installation of high-quality kitchens and bathrooms, including en-suite facilities for enhanced convenience. The entire property was boarded and skimmed to deliver a flawless finish throughout. To complete the transformation, we installed laminate, tiles, and carpets in all apartments and communal areas, aligning with the client’s specifications to create a cohesive and welcoming living environment.
