CATEGORY RESIDENTIAL

Sefton Council  has granted contract approval  to Bolden Group to build a modern three-story building, accommodating 26 high-quality apartments, slated for planning in October 2024.

The Old Roan Development is set to transform a key site in Liverpool into a vibrant residential space, replacing the former two-story public house that has been vacant for over a decade. Located in a prominent position at the corner of Ormskirk Road (A59) and Copy Lane, adjacent to the Old Roan railway station, this exciting new development will breathe new life into an area that has long been in disrepair. With the strategic placement next to major transport links and local amenities, the project is designed with convenience and community in mind.

The new build will comprise a modern three-story building, offering 26 thoughtfully designed one- and two-bedroom apartments. Perfect for young professionals, couples, and those looking for a well-connected living space, this development will provide residents with easy access to Liverpool’s city centre and the surrounding areas, thanks to its proximity to the railway station and bus interchange.

The surrounding neighbourhood, which includes residential properties, the Oldy Club, and the bustling Old Roan local centre, offers a welcoming and lively atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for those seeking both community and connectivity. With two existing vehicular accesses from Copy Lane and Ormskirk Road, this development promises to deliver modern, accessible living spaces, further enriching this prime location. Hence, this project marks a significant addition to Bolden Group’s portfolio of sustainable, community-focused developments.
