Bolden Group was appointed by Sovini Property Services to implement passive fire protection measures in loft spaces across a series of residential properties. As a FIRAS-approved contractor, we delivered a comprehensive fire prevention solution designed to enhance the safety and structural resilience of these homes, ensuring compliance with the latest fire safety regulations.
Scope of Work
Our expert team conducted a detailed assessment of loft spaces, implementing essential fire protection measures to enhance safety and compliance. We installed fire-rated barriers and stopping materials as part of our fire compartmentation strategy to contain the spread of fire. Additionally, we applied intumescent coatings to structural elements, providing fire-retardant protection. To prevent fire from spreading through service penetrations, we meticulously sealed all cables, pipes, and ductwork with fire-rated materials. Throughout the process, we ensured strict adherence to BS 476 and Approved Document B fire safety standards, reinforcing our commitment to high-quality fire protection solutions.
